Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia is a medical condition where male breast tissue becomes enlarged, often resulting in a more noticeable or feminized chest appearance. It can occur due to an imbalance of the hormones estrogen and testosterone, leading to the growth of glandular tissue in the breasts. This condition can happen at different life stages, such as during infancy, puberty, or older age. It may be caused by factors like hormonal changes, certain medications, health conditions, or substance use. In some cases, it resolves on its own, while in others, treatment may be necessary if it causes discomfort or emotional distress.
